Omega seamaster 300 165.024
The Seamaster 300 ref 165.024 incorporates many of the quintessential design elements that immediately identify a watch as an Omega. These include the sword hands, arrowhead sweep seconds hand and faceted lugs. The 300 was first introduced in 1957. The 165.024 is the 4th ref # used for the SM300 and was introduced in 1964. It came with both stick hands and sword hand versions. The 165.024 was also used by various military units, including the Royal Navy.
The watch above is a modern 165.024 sold by Watchco Australia. Watchco were at some point/iteration the official supplier of Omega watch parts in Australia. They used modern Omega replacement parts with the correct vintage movements to create these modern versions of the watch. Watch comes with the original 1171 bracelet.
